Khao Phra Thaeo is one of Thailand’s most well-maintained rainforests situated in the Thalang district. The 22.3 square kilometres of unspoiled forest is home to various wild animals, including tropical gibbons, boars, and monkeys.  Also rare trees and plants, such as the Governor’s Palm or White Back Palm (Lang Khao Palm), a rare type of palm tree which is only found in this magnificent rainforest.

Khao Phra Thaeo also serves as one of Phuket’s most essential freshwater sources. After the fun trek through the rainforest, travellers can enjoy a moment to relax at the Ton Sai waterfall. This wonderful waterfall is located inside the forest, a beautiful cascade with a pool at its foot. Or keep trekking along the designated trails taking in the lush green forest.

This fun and informative walking the rainforest tour takes around 1.5 – 2 hours of trekking through the rare and exquisite palms, where guests will experience nature’s sights and sounds of tropical wildlife. A tour that will surely become your most unique holiday moment.
